15 South Cotabateñas vie for Mutya ng South Cotabato crown

Koronadal City—Fifteen ladies from 10 towns and one city in South Cotabato vie for the most beautiful woman in the province as Mutya ng South Cotabato, the brightest evening during the 20th Tnalak Festival and 53rd Foundation Anniversary.

Jimmy Gayanilo, Pageant’s Artistic Director, said the pageant “seeks to  inspire the discovery of dreams, aspirations, passion, and pursuit of a true woman of South Cotabato.”

“Our theme is being glorious. We wanted our ladies to feel glorious. That they are born for this. And it is who they are,” Gayanilo.

The Mutya ng South Cotabato will receive P40, 000.

The pageant night features Production Number, Swimwear Competition and Evening Gown Competition. The Tnalak casual couture highlights tnalak fabric without beadworks. The contestants will wear a couture crop top designed by a local designer and the palazzo pants will be provided by the organizer.

The ladies will wear a high fashion swimwear in nude color tones with red and black glitter. On the other hand, the candidates are group into three during the evening gown competition. Each group has an assigned color–black, white and red–the colors of tnalak. Accessories are based on the assigned color scheme.

“Expect a more beautiful night!” Gayanilo added.
