49 IPs in Lake Sebu receives solar power kits from TESDA SOX

A total of 49 Indigenous Peoples of Barangay Klubi in Lake Sebu have expressed their gratitude to TESDA XII after receiving Solar Power Toolkits that they can use in their respective homes.

This comes after several decades of enduring darkness during the night, and now they can experience light thanks to this project.

Before the formal turnover, the beneficiaries underwent training in Photovoltaic Installation and Maintenance to ensure that they have the knowledge of how to use these tools.

TESDA 12 Regional Director Rafael Y. Abrogar II also assured that many more programs will be provided to this community, and they will continue to collaborate with the local government of Lake Sebu.

The lifespan of these Solar Power tools is estimated to be up to fifteen years with proper usage and maintenance.

It is worth noting that this program covers four different sites located in remote areas.
