South Cotabato is SRAA’s over-all champion in Boxing

Five South Cotabato pugs will represent Region12 for the upcoming Palarong Pambansa after winning gold medals in their respective categories in the SRAA Meet.
These boxers include Generick V.Cabucos , 45kgs; Jose Angelou Villaverde, 50kg; MarkJohn Onal,52kg.; John DaveVillaverde, 54kg.; and Kenneth Equinan,56kg.
The South Cotabato Athletic Association SCAA was declared as the over-all champion in boxing for winning five Gold, one silver and one Bronze.
Aside from this, South Cotabato nwas also declared a champion in Athletics for garnering a total of 34 gold medals both in the elementary and secondary divisions.
Winning athletes in these events which serve as SouthCot’s gold mine will represent region 12 for the upcoming Palarong Pambansa to be held in Davao City on April 27 to May 4, 2019.
The weeklong sports event yielded South Cotabato as First Runner-Up in the overall ranking with 78-Gold, 79-Silver; and 86-Bronze.
In the Elementary Division, it garnered 37-Gold, 48-Silver, and 31-Bronze medal; and 41 –Gold, 31-Silver,and 55-Bronze medals in the secondary division.
SRAA Meet 2019 result re as follows:
Champion: Gen. Santos City
1st Runner Up: South Cotabato
2nd Runner Up: City of Koronadal
3rd Runner Up: Kidapawan City
4th Runner Up: Tacurong City
