T’nalak Festival 2022 gears up after 2-year hiatus

Preparations for the 23rd T’nalak Festival and 56th Foundation Anniversary of South Cotabato are now on high gear as the different committees are now busy in their respective activity for the forthcoming festival scheduled from June 13 to June 18 this year.

          Live and recorded interview of the different T’nalak Festival Committee Chairpersons are now being conducted by the Provincial Information Office headed by Officer-In-Charge Rudy Jimenea, which takes charge of the Publicity and Promotions of the annual celebration.

          The interview can be viewed over the province’s official Facebook Page, “Provincial Government of South Cotabato” scheduled on a weekly basis.

          As of press time, the scheduled highlight of the celebration include the Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration (July 13-4pm), Opening Program & Thematic Showdown (Junely14-9am), Ceremonial Opening – Plant Fair & Bahay Kubo/ Plants & Products Display/Regional Trade &Tourism Expo (July 14-1pm), Opening – Food Garden, Mini-Concert, T’nalak Stri[ (July 14-6pm), Fireworks Display – 7pm (July 14), Jobs Fair-8am/Hiphop Dance Competition (July 15), 1st RST Aeromarathon Competition-5am/1st RST MTB Enduro Challenge-6am/Motocross Competition-7am (July 16), Farm Walk/Farmers Festival/Pinaka Contest-7am (July 16), 1st RST XC Challenge-5am.  1st RST MTB Enduro Challenge, 1st RST Motocross Competition-7am, Mutya ng South Cotabato Pageant Night-6pm (July 17), Anniversary Program & Magsinadya Street Dancing Howdown (Open Category)-7am, Bahay Kubo Awarding-2pm, Governor’s Night & Recognition Awards Night-6pm, Rock-Rakan sa T’nalak-7pm, Grand Fireworks Display-10pm.

          Aside from said events, side events include sports ctivities such as basketball, volleyball, golf tournament, practical shooting competition, among others.

The theme of this year’s T’nalak Festival is “Weaving Our Dreams Into Reality.”
