In a significant development, the much-awaited operations manual of the Provincial Youth Home has been officially released, setting the stage for its imminent grand opening. With the inclusion of nine local government units in the referral system, including the towns of Surallah and the city of Koronadal, the Provincial Youth Home is poised to become a cornerstone in the region’s efforts to provide support and rehabilitation for youth in need.
Backed by a substantial budget of 15 million pesos from the provincial government, the Provincial Youth Home is designed to accommodate up to 30 youths or children in conflict with the law. The community eagerly awaits the culmination of these efforts, with the official opening ceremony expected to take place in the coming year or by the first quarter of 2024.
