South Cotabato PDRRMO ensures ample aid for calamity-affected residents

The provincial government of South Cotabato assures that aid remains ample for residents affected by the recent calamity in the province. This confirmation comes from the Officer-in-Charge of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), Rolly Doane Aquino, following the distribution of assistance to affected residents in the aftermath of a 6.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the province recently.

Aquino clarified that the province’s assistance is currently more than sufficient, with budget allocations from the previous year still unutilized. He emphasized that the supplies in the storage facilities are regularly replenished to ensure their freshness, and the office maintains a proactive approach to prevent any expiration or damage to the relief items.

The immediate response of the PDRRMO reached the municipalities of Polomolok and Tupi, where numerous residents experienced damage to their homes. OIC PDRRMO Rolly Doane Aquino expressed his commitment to providing continuous support to those affected by the calamity.
