Summer months favored by SouthCot visitors

Tourists visiting South Cotabato prefer the summer months of March, April and May, as per record of the Arts, Culture. Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit.

Richie Matunding, ACTMU Statistician disclosed that based on last year’s record March registered 140,048 arrivals, April – 216,224 and May – 139,180, for a total of 495,452.

The cool months of the year meanwhile is the second choice for visitors with  December recording 151,946 arrivals, January at 174,753 and February – 139,922, for a total of 466,621.

Banner attraction sites in the province include the 7-Falls Zioline, Lang Dulay Weaving Center, lake cruise and tilapia delicacy in Lake Sebu, Lake Holon in T’boli, SG Farm and Matutum Bloom in Tupi, Fu Yabing Weaving Center and B’laan Museum at Sitio Amguo, Barangay Landan, Polomolok, swimming pool resorts in Banga, Mambucal Hot Sulfur Spring Resort in Koronadal City, to name a few.
