The newly constructed 2-classroom with comfort room building in Shri-Visaya Elementary School located in Barangay Dajay, Surallah, South Cotabato, has now undergone pre-final inspection.
Funded by the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, the said educational facility amounts to PHP 2,593,393.90.
According to Provincial Engineer Lloyd Esparagosa, the Provincial Engineering Office aims to expedite the construction of classrooms based on the flagship program and directive of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. – free education program.
Esparagosa added that the additional classrooms will serve as part of the Provincial Government’s solution to address the shortage of classrooms in the province.
It is noted that the recently completed classroom is just one of the total 89 projects of the Provincial Engineering Office completed last year.
