CITY OF KORONADAL — Lugan Central Elementary School of T’boli and Poblacion Polomolok National High School of Polomolok garnered first place in the Recy-Creativity-Recycla-Cosplay and Recy-Composition (Original Song-Writing) Contests, respectively, during the 5th South Cotabato Recyclable Waste Fair held at Gaisano Mall, here. on November 25.
The Recy-Creativity-Recycla-Cosplay Contest is open to elementary pupils while the Recy-Composition (Original Song-Writing) Contest is open to high school students province-wide.
For their win, Lugan CES of T’boli and Poblacion Polomolok NHS received P6,000 as cash incentive.
Banga CES of Banga and Sta. Cruz ES of Tampakan likewise won second place (P4,500) and third place (P3,500), respectively, on the Recy-Creativity-Recycla-Cosplay Contest.
Meanwhile, for the Recy-Composition (Original Song-Writing) Contest, Sergio L. Legayada NHS of Norala won second place (P4,500) and Libertad NHS of Surallah (third place (P3,500).
Participating elementary schools who are non-winners received P1,000 and they were Namnama ES of Koronadal City. Talahik ES of Surallah, Upper Klinan ES of Polomolok, New Iloilo ES of Tantangan, Belaza Castromayor ES of Tupi, San Isidro ES of Sto. Nino, Puti ES of Norala, Lake Sebu CES of Lake Sebu.
Non-winning high schools , on the other hand, who also received P1,000 consolation prize each were Lamba NHS of Banga, Marbel 7 NHS of Koronadal City, Tampakan NHS of Tampakan, Tantangan National High School of Tantangan, Kablon NHS of Tupi, Sto. Nino NHS of Sto. Nino and Lake Sebu NHS of Lake Sebu.
The 5th South Cotabato Recyclable Waste Fair theme is “Developing Young Creative Ecological Minds.”
