ACTM orients Tupi Barangay officials on Cultural Asset Mapping

Some 50 Barangay Official in the municipality of Tupi were oriented by the Arts and Culture Section staff  of the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Development and Promotions on Cultural Asset Mapping (CAM) held recently at the Tupi Municipal Gymnasium.

The officials were composed of Barangay Captains’ and Kagawads, Indigenous Peoples Representatives and other barangay officials coming from the 15 barangays of the municipality, namely; Acmonan, Bulol-mala, Bunao, Cebuano, Crossing Rubber, . Kablon, Kalkam, Linan, Lunen, Miasong, Palian, Poblacion, Polonoling,  Simbo, Tubeng.

Anna Liz Cabrido, CAM Focal Person oriented the barangay officials on the duties, responsibilities and functions of the mapper and enumerator, and documents needed particularly the letter of consent from the IP community where the mapping will be conducted.

A follow-thru CAM training will be conducted by ACTM in partnership with Tupi Tourism Office later on April this year for 3 representatives for each barangay composed of 1 Mapper and 2 Enumerators.
