TUPI, SOUTH COTABATO — Seven (7) barangays of this municipality underwent a pre-validation of their respective cultural mapping program spearheaded by the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit held at the DILG Office here last July 25.
Bren Tamayo, Tupi Municipal Tourism Coordinator welcomed the participants of the whole-day activity.
The last batch validated were Barangays Polonuling, Acmonan, Tubeng, Cebuano, Bulol-Mala, Miasong and Lunen, which were represented by their respective barangay captain, IPMR representative together with their enumerator and mapper.
The respective Barangay Mapper presented the 20 Cultural Icons located in their community during the pre-validation.
Engr. Hans Cydeil Fernandez, Cultural Mapping Editor was likewise present to assist the barangay enumerators and mappers in their write-up.
After the ore-validation, a final validation will be scheduled later among the 15 barangays of Tupi by ACTM.
