2023 Lupong Taga Pamayapa National Award

The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Award (LTIA) celebrates the outstanding efforts of Barangay Poblacion, Tupi, Polomolok, Norala, and Tampakan in upholding the Katarungan Pambarangay Law. Provincial Director Atty. Rochelle Mahinay-Sero and Vice Gov. Arthur Pingoy, Jr. proudly presented plaques of recognition and cash incentives to these exemplary communities. Congratulations to Barangay Poblacion, Tupi, for earning the top spot and a well-deserved P40,000 cash prize in the 2023 evaluation!

2023 Green banner award from Regional Nutrition Council

.Provincial Nutrition Action Officer Rudy Jimenea is the region's Most Outstanding Provincial Nutrition Action Officer. Jimenea receives plaque of recognition and cash prize. District Nutrition Program Coordinator Angela Frugalidad also accepts the Most Outstanding Award given to all DNPC in the region. Along with Jimenea and Frugaliadad, the towns of Polomolok, Tupi, Norala and Banga are recipient of Regional Nutrition Awards in Nutrition Implementation.

2023 Gawad KALASAG Seal of EXCELLENCE

The province of South Cotabato is ranked as “Fully Compliant” at the 23rd Gawad KALASAG (Kalamidad at Sakuna Labanan, Sariling Galing ang Kaligtasan) Seal for local disaster risk reduction and management council and offices (LDRRMCOs).

2022 Top 2 Best in the Digital Governance Awards throughout the country

The DGA is an annual search for the best practices of LGUs in utilizing ICT solutions to effectively and efficiently deliver its public services directly to its constituents and to its business stakeholders. The program is initiated by by the Department of Information and Communications Technology, the National ICT Confederation of the Philippines, and the Department of Interior and Local Government.

2022 “Dreamweaver’s Parol”

2022 “Dreamweaver’s Parol” was adjudged as Best Parol in the “ Isang Bituin, Isang Mithiin” nationwide parol making contest spearheaded by Malacanan Palace’s Office of the Social Secretary.

2022 Most Outstanding Volunteer

The Barangay Empowerment Program under the Barangay Affairs Unit demonstrated the strength of volunteerism through strong pa with more than 25,000 Reinforced Services task Force (RST) Volunteers in order to achieve efficient implementation of programs and projects. The award was conferred by the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency and the National Economic and Development Authority XII.

2017 GAWAD PARANGAL AWARD- MOST OUTSTANDING GOVERNOR IN THE PHILIPPINES

On the same month of April 2017, Gov. Daisy P. Avance-Fuentes received the 2017 Gawad Parangal Award of the Association of Local Social Welfare & Development Officers in the Philippines, Inc. (ALSWDOPI) for her unwavering support to all social work endeavors and for championing social welfare and development goals in her governance.

2017 STAKEHOLDER AWARD OF THE PHILIPPINE ARMY

Last April 4, 2017, The Provincial Government of South Cotabato headed by Gov. Daisy P. Avance Fuentes received the 2017 Stakeholder Award of the Philippine Army in recognition for the invaluable support in the peace building and national development initiatives.

In 2016, Gov. Daisy P. Avance-Fuentes received Galing Pook Jesse Robredo Leadership Award for Manifesting the Ideal Qualities of a Public Servant-Leader, Dedication, Commitment, and Humility–in Promoting Good Governance that is Empowering, Effective, and Ethical.

3rd MOST COMPETITIVE PROVINCE IN THE PHILIPPINES

In 2015, the National Competitiveness Council declared the province as the 3rd most competitive province in the country.

4th MOST COMPETITIVE PROVINCE IN THE PHILIPPINES

In 2014, the National Competitiveness Council declared the province as the 4th most competitive province in the country.

SEAL OF GOOD LOCAL GOVERNANCE (SGLG)

Last years, South Cotabato received the Seal of Good Local Governance Award from the Department of Interior and Local Government(DILG). The said award symbolizes the province’s journey towards good local governance upholding of transparency, integrity and service delivery.

GALING POOK AWARDS

For the past three years, South Cotabato was awarded with three Galing pook Awards named: South Cotabato Sanitation and Clustering Program, Minahang Bayanihan: Small Scale Mining Program and The Friendly Drugs: a PPP on Health Plus Project.

MOST FUNCTIONAL LOCAL COUNCIL FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN

Last year, South Cotabato’s Provincial Council for the Protection of Children was once again adjudged as the Most Functional LCPC or Local Council for the Protection of Children.

NNC 12 NUTRITION AWARDEE

The National Nutrition Council through the Regional Nutrition Evaluating Team declared South Cotabato as the Most Outstanding Province for the Implementation of Nutrition Programs in the whole region. Junelia Domel, a Barabgay Nutrition Scholar from Brgy. New Iloilo, Tantangan also won the award as the Regional Most Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar.

MOST OUTSTANDING LGU PERFORMER ON REVENUE GENERATION PROGRAM AND REAL PROPERTY TAX COLLECTION.

The Bureau of Local Finance XII declared the Province as the Most Outstanding LGU Performer on Revenue Generator Program for 2015 having attained 107.55% revenue Tax Accomplishment Rate(RTAR) versus it’s assigned total targets of Php 427, 469, 577.00 on real property tax, business tax, fees and charges, and economic enterprises. The province was also declared as the Ranked 1 in the 1st Income Tax Provincial Level Category for the success of the Real Property Tax Collection Program of the Province, having obtained 102.10% collection efficiency against its Annual target of Php 245, 471, 292.00 for CY 2015.
