The Provincial Government of South Cotabato cemented road from Barangay Liwanay to Barangay Kusan in the town of Banga has reached its completion, funded with a total of 14,994,293 pesos.
Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. issued a directive to expedite the improvement of provincial roads in the province to facilitate easier travel for residents, particularly students commuting to schools, and for the efficient delivery of essential services to the community.
Governor Tamayo emphasized that this project is one of the administration’s priorities as it contributes to the smoother delivery of government services when there are well-maintained and improved roads.
In addition to road improvements, the current focus is on the installation of water lines in various barangays and sitios, recognizing these as basic needs of the residents.
During a recent visit, the governor toured around 199 barangays in the entire province to gain a deeper understanding of the real situation of the residents and address their concerns more effectively.
Governor Tamayo assures the public that under his leadership, the progress of all sectors in the province will be a top priority.
