BANGA, SOUTH COTABATO- The concreting of the road from Rizal-Cabudian Road in Brgy. Cabudian Phase II in the municipality of Banga is nearing completion, with a budget allocation of Php14,992,889.44. This initiative aims to enhance transportation access for local residents.
Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. emphasized the urgency of improving provincial roads to facilitate easier travel for residents, particularly for students commuting to school and for farmers transporting their products to market. “This project is a top priority of my administration,” Governor Tamayo stated, highlighting that well-maintained roads are essential for effective government service delivery, especially in remote areas.
Currently, only a few locations remain unpaved, predominantly in mountainous regions, but plans are in place to complete the cementing process. The governor reassured the public that his administration is dedicated to fostering development across all sectors of the province, ensuring that no community is left behind in the journey toward progress.
With these improvements, the local government aims to provide a safer and more efficient transportation network that benefits the entire community, paving the way for enhanced economic opportunities and better quality of life for the residents of Banga.
