Election materials to arrive in South Cotabato on April 15

Koronadal City—Provincial Comelec here is expecting the arrival of election paraphernalia on April 15, Election Officer Dorothy Losa confirmed.

“The hub of the machines is in General Santos City and the materials like forms and ballots will be kept by Provincial Treasurer’s Office,” Losa said.

Machines will be tested on May 6-10. Comelec will allow 10 persons to conduct a dummy voting at the precinct on this day.

There are 1057 voting precincts in South Cotabato. During election day, each precinct will have three Comelec persons to assist the voting public.

Comelec has the final list of Board of Election Inspectors and Canvassers as the May 13 is fast approaching. Training has been conducted to MBOC for updates while the Electronic Technicians underwent examination administered by the Department of Science and Technology to ensure “they are capable to handle electronic-related problems during the Election Day.”
