In constant coordination of Gov. Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr with the office of the President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. the Malacañang Palace granted and approved approximately 2 Billion Pesos worth of budget for different projects in the Province. It was remembered during 2023 T’nalak Festival, Sen. Imee R. Marcos pledged to allocate 510 Million Pesos for Agriculture related projects in South Cotabato. In addition, due to Gov. Reynaldo’s diligent and untiring effort to ask for support from the office of the President, the Provincial Government of South Cotabato was granted with 1.7 Billion Pesos worth of funds. This budget will be allocated mostly for infrastructure projects such as construction of bridges, flood control projects, concreting and connecting of roads.
Moreover, according to Gov. Tamayo during his Monday Convocation message “Ginabalanse tagid na siya, nga dapat pag abot sang panahon, ang maka benepisyo sang development taga South Cotabato gyapon.” In history of the province, this is the biggest amount ever recorded that was granted to South Cotabato from the National Office. “First time ina nga sa Provincial Government nakakuha sang almost 2 Billion fund for this year didto mismo direkta sa office of Malacañang or Office of the President kag gina tan aw ta pa kung maka dugang pagid kita na maka access pagid sa damo pa nga offices kag dako ina nga bulig sa katawhan sang South Cotabato. He also emphasized that he will not stop finding sources from the Office of the President as the National President of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas. Frequently, Gov. Tamayo travels back and forth to Malacañang Palace to lobby the needed project funding for the province and other neighboring provinces.
