South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. was all praises for the recognition received by the province as one of the Top 10 Most Visited Tourist Destination in the country for 2023.
Gonor Tamayo made the stamen during the State of the Province Address (SOPA) held last July 5 at the South Cotabato Gymnasium and Cultural Center.
“The province received more than 2 million visitors that included 1,811 foreigners last year,” the Governor pointed out. The Department of Tourism (DOT) released the Top 10 ranking for 2023 April this year.
likewise recognized the province’s Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit, DOT, the private sector and stakeholders for their collaborative efforts in making South Cotabato among the country’s Top 10 favorite tourist destination.
The Governor finished his one-hour SOPA delivering his administration’s accomplishments for 2023.
