Koronadal City—The local government units in South Cotabato are vying for the coveted championship in the inter-LGU open volleyball tournament, one of the sporting events this Tnalak Festival.
Sonia Bautista, the committee in charge, said the team aims to get the P50, 000 cash prize in the tournament.
“We are happy that all the towns in South Cotabato participated in the event. The competition is divided into women’s and men’s categories. The tournament opened last July 7.
The competing team is regular and job order employees whose contract was signed last January.
The venue of the volleyball tournament is the South Cotabato Capitol Covered Court. Runner-ups will receive P40, 000, P30, 000 and P20, 000 respectively. Non-winning teams will also claim consolation prizes.
