The construction of 80 classrooms funded by the Melco Foundation is now 70% complete. This project is expected to be finished by the end of June.
According to Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr., the project has allocated 100 million pesos for the construction of these buildings.
The Governor added that this initiative is part of his administration’s efforts to address the shortage of classrooms in the province.
He aims to complete 600 classroom buildings across the province by the end of his term or by the year 2026.
It has been noted that free education in the province is a pilot program of the administration to alleviate the financial burden on parents for their children’s schooling.
