As the silver anniversary of the T’nalak Festival approaches, the safety and security of spectators and visitors in South Cotabato is a top priority. Rolly Doane Aquino, Officer-in-Charge of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), assured that his office, along with members of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), is fully prepared.
This council includes the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), which are the key agencies responsible for maintaining peace and order throughout the festival.
Aquino emphasized that their main priority is to ensure the safety of everyone attending the festival, no matter which activity or event they choose to participate in. He also shared that they are actively seeking ways to provide the necessary logistics, food supplies, and other essential equipment needed for the celebration.
In his statement, Aquino urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious individuals or objects to the authorities immediately. By doing so, they can help maintain the peace and ensure that the festival runs smoothly without any disruptions.
The PDRRMO, along with its partner agencies, remains committed to ensuring that the T’nalak Festival is not only an enjoyable experience for all attendees but also a safe and secure one.
