KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato – In celebration of World Population Day today, the Provincial Population Office (PPO) distributed Social and Behavioral Change (SBCC) materials, also known as Information Education Campaign (IEC) materials, to the general public. This initiative aimed to provide the community with current and significant data on population issues and dynamics, fostering greater awareness and understanding among residents.
The distribution took place along the streets of Koronadal City, where residents eagerly received the educational materials. This year’s World Population Day theme, “Embracing the Power of Inclusive Data Towards a Resilient and Equitable Future for All,” highlights the importance of data in addressing population challenges and promoting sustainable development.
