PRDP turns-over Php51.9 million projects in SouthCot

The Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) formally turned over another two big-ticket projects worth Php51.9 million in South Cotabato.
During the turn-over ceremony held yesterday, PRDP handed -over the certificate of ownership of the Enterprise Production of Cassava Granules and Marketing worth Php34.9 million to the Polo Samahang Nayon Multi-Purpose Cooperative (Polo SNMPC) as the lead cluster group.
The Tupi Coffee Growers Association Incorporation (TUCOGAI) also received their certificate of ownership for the Php17 million project on the Enhancement of Production and Marketing of Dried Green Coffee Beans.

In June this year, the PRDP also turned -over the Php 47.4 million “Dairy Production, Processing and Marketing subproject” to the UNIFIED Engineering Workers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (UEWMPC) which benefited a total of 1,904 coop members
Other PRDP project implemented in the province include Integrated Cacao Production Processing and Marketing of Fermented Cacao Beans worth Php17. 9 million implemented by the Tibud sa Katibawasan Multi-purpose Cooperative based in Polomolok.
South Cotabato has a total of Php122.5 million projects implemented under PRDP.
