Provincial engineering announces P30M rural water funding

Koronadal City—The Provincial Engineering prioritized rural water system as Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. wanted to bring clean and reliable drinking water to rural communities of South Cotabato.

Engr. Frederick Soriano, Provincial Engineering Officer-In-Charge, said the rural water construction activities are set to establish seven water system projects based on the 2021 budget amounting to P30M.

“Rural water projects get to the heart of the governor to help rural and tribal communities access safe drinking water they deserve,” he said.

The 2022 budget allocated six more water system infrastructures located in far-flung areas of Tboli, Polomolok, and City of Koronadal based on the request of barangays as a result of the governor’s barangayan outreach activity.
