Prov’l Dev’t Council adopts P2.4-B AIP for 2015

City of Koronadal – The Provincial Development Council (PDC) adopted and approved the P 2,391,741,084.00 Annual Investment Program (AIP) for 2015 in a meeting held recently at the PDC Hall, PPDO Building, this city.

Governor Daisy Avance Fuentes, PDC Chair led the council in the adoption that was unanimously approved by the council members present.

Jennifer Bretana, PPDO’sPlanning Division chief, conducted the presentation of the 2015 AIP to the body.

The fund sources of the 2015 AIP comes from the General Fund (GF), Local Development Fund (LDF) , 5% Calamity Fund (CF) and Special Education Fund (SEF).

Bretana discussed the 2015 AIP Summary particularly its allocation such as P2,274,383,811.00 for PLGU Operations and Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs), P5,137,381.00 as Assistance to National Line, Agencies, P 64,219,892.00 representing the 5% as CF and P48,000,000.00 as SEF.

Under Sectoral Appropriations, Bretana explained that the 2015 AIP is divided among 5 development sectors, namely: Social (to include SEF), Economic, Technical Infrastructure, Environment Management and DRR/CCA, and Development Administration.

Topping the sectoral budget allocation is Social Development (34%) with P 816,563,208.00, followed by Technical Infrastructure (31%) with P731,793,198.00, Development Administration (25%) with P599,717,662.00, Economic Development (6%) with P143,324,062.00 and Environment Management and DRR/CCA (5%) with P95,205,573.00.

The province’s projected 2015 total income is P 1,284,668,845,00, with an Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) of P1,078,256,105 and 20% LDF of P 215,651,221.00.
