In a data provided by the Office of Chief of Hospital, South Cotabato Provincial Hospital (SCPH) remains the primary healthcare provider of Women in South Cotabato, with a total of 97.4 Overall Costumer Satisfaction Rate recorded as of March 2024. According to their statistics, a total of 3,360 women were served under the Free Hospitalization Program of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. In addition, a total of 902 Pregnant women were admitted for delivery, 768 underwent Normal Delivery and 134 are Caesarian. Also, 279 were served with OPD Prenatal services.
In an interview with Nurse III of the Integrated Provincial Health Office Ms. Gnesis Q. Navales, 7 out of 15 Pregnant Women passed away due to direct Maternal Mortality. A total of 15 deaths were recorded, equivalent to 44 per 100,000 live births in South Cotabato. According to her, their death is highly preventable if only they are properly oriented and nourished before, during, and after their labour. In her message of encouragement, she said “ We would like invite all women of reproductive age nga mag access sang health services sa aton ng mga barangay health station, ara ang mga nurse and midwife nga mag hatag sang services sa inyo kay libre ine kaupod na ang edukasyon.”

- Other arthropod-borne viral fevers and viral hemmorhagic fevers.
- Intrauterine hypoxis and birth asphyxia
- Slow fetal growth, fetal malnutrition and disorders related to short gestation and low birth weight.
- Gastritis and duodenitis.
