The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of the Province of South Cotabato recently approved the 2024 Annual Executive Budget of the Province.
The 2024 Annual Executive budget amounting to PHP 3,054157,735.00 was passed on the third and final reading during the body’s 75th Regular Session.
Committee on Appropriations Chairperson Hon. Nilda Almencion spearheaded the budget hearings of the various departments of the Provincial Government.
South Cotabato Vice Governor Arthur Y. Pingoy Jr. said that a large portion of the over PHP 3 Billion-peso budget is allocated for the Province’s programs on Health, Education, Agriculture, Infrastructure, and various Social Services of the province.
Furthermore, there has been an increase in the 2024 budget as compared to the 2023 budget of the Provincial Government. Vice Governor Pingoy Jr. added that with the increase, the Provincial Government can further facilitate and provide the Tama at Maayos brand of service to the constituents of the province.
