South Cotabato, Philippines – The provincial government of South Cotabato has reported a 70% utilization rate of its allocated resources for development projects, a significant milestone in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of services to its constituents.
Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. emphasized that the 70% utilization rate reflects the province’s commitment to maximizing resources, including finances and facilities, to improve public service. “The 70% utilization rate means that the resources we have allocated are being used properly and in a timely manner,” Governor Tamayo said.

Governor Tamayo has been pushing to further improve the province’s utilization rate as part of his administration’s broader goal of achieving the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG). The SGLG is a prestigious recognition given to local government units that exhibit excellence in governance, transparency, and effective resource management.
