South Cotabato guv to deliver SOPA

South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., is set to deliver his State of the Province Address next week.

During the Regular Monday Flag Raising activity held earlier this morning, Governor Tamayo announces that he will deliver his SOPA  to inform the people of South Cotabato about the various services the provincial government has provided under his administration for the past year.

His SOPA will include reports on his flagship programs such as the free education and hospitalization on government hospitals, social services including covid-related initiatives, among others.

“Our people deserve to know what we are doing,” Tamayo said,

He added all of these accomplishments cannot be fulfilled without the help of the ever-dedicated employees of the province.

Unlike the previous staging of the SOPA, Governor Tamayo wants it done in a simple way.

It will be held at the SP Session Hall and attended by small groups.

However, it will also be covered via live streaming of the province’s official Facebook page so that other people can also watch his SOPA.

The State of the Province Address is an annual report of the Governor that highlights the accomplishments of the provincial government for the past year.

Aside from these accomplishments, the governor will also present his plans for the upcoming year.

The SOPA is mandated as one of the requirements set by the Department of Interior and Local Government based on the Local Government Code.
