South Cotabato LGU hires personnel to assign in public schools

Koronadal City—The Provincial Government of South Cotabato installed 1026 security guards, clerks, ALS mobile, development and regular teachers in various public schools in the province, Hazelene Laconse, Human Resource Development Management Office Administrative Assistant confirmed.

“This is the commitment of the province to cut down expenses of parents incurred in sending,” Laconse pointed out.

The newly hired job order workers signed their contract of service recently.

The education program is one of the priority projects of Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. He wanted to unburden the parents of additional cost of education.

Laconse said the province hired four ALS mobile teachers. 299 regular teachers,  131 child development workers and 230 security guards. To ensure the no collection policy in public schools, the province also employed 262 utility workers and 102 clerks.

The budget is allocated in the annual budget and in the Supplemental Budget Number 1.

Laconse added that there are 1058 job orders are intended in this program. There are 32 positions that are still vacant.
