South Cotabato Provincial Government Boosts Education with Smart TV Distribution to Public Schools

South Cotabato, Philippines – In a groundbreaking move to elevate the quality of education, the Provincial Government of South Cotabato distributed Smart TVs to 105 public schools across the province. Spearheaded by Anna Rose Z. Kasan, the Provincial General Services Officer in charge, and representing the visionary leadership of Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr., this initiative is a significant step to enhance learning experiences for students.

“The distribution of Smart TVs is not just a provision of technology; it’s an investment in the intellectual capital of our province. We want to ensure that our students are not just educated but are also technologically empowered for the challenges of the future,” affirms Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr.

The project, funded by a substantial allocation of over 4 million pesos from the Special Education Fund, aims to create a tech-savvy and dynamic learning environment for students. The Smart TVs are expected to revolutionize the traditional classroom setting, providing teachers with innovative tools to engage and educate the next generation effectively.

Provincial General Services Officer Anna Rose Z. “A special mention goes to 25 schools with special programs that have also received Smart TVs as part of this initiative. This inclusive approach aims to cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring that those in special programs benefit from the advantages of modern technology in their educational journey,” adds Kasan.
