In pursuit of giving Tama at Maayos na Serbisyo under the free hospitalization program of Gov. Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. The South Cotabato Provincial Hospital Blood Bank conducts Blood Letting Activity in supply to the insatiable need of blood in the Provincial Hospital. SCPH Blood Bank held a Blood Letting Activity to the Cancer patients of Balay Dalangpan. In partnership with the Philippine National Police South Cotabato, this activity aims to provide the lack of blood supply in the province.
In an interview with the Emy Santillan the Donor Recruitment Officer of SCPH Blood Bank, she emphasized that there is always a shortage of blood supply in the Blood Bank, she stated “Kami nagasulong nga dapat may blood donation gid kita everyday, kag dapat naga target gid kita sang 100 blood of bags per day nga malikum naton kay hindi sya enough. Actually ang 100 nga ina magamit lang sya for 4 days”. The main goal of this activity is to help the Cancer patients of Balay Dalangpan who urgently needs it in their medication at Southern Philippine Medical Center

Moreover, the head caretaker of Balay Dalangpan Ms. Milez Miguilla Pazcua initiated this request to conduct and facilitate this activity with the participation of the Philippine National Police South Cotabato. Held at South Cotabato Capitol Grounds, it is open for civil society and walk-in donors. Furthermore, Ms. Santillan encouraged the public to take part in this activity for it not only helps the donors to be healthy it also adds life to the patient in need of blood. She wants to inform everyone that SCPH Blood Bank is always ready to cater the request to facilitate a blood-letting activity in the province.
