Seventeen (17) water system projects worth P49.1 million is slated for South Cotabato this 2017 as part of the PAyapa at MAsaganang PamayaNAn or PAMANA program of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Beneficiaries of said “soft projects” are Lake Sebu MLGU with one (1) Water System Level II project worth P20 million; Tupi MLGU with three (3) Potable Water System projects worth P7 million; and, Tantangan MLGU with thirteen (13) Water System Level II projects worth P22.1 million.
The water system projects in Lake Sebu are located in Lamlahak while the 3 PWS projects in Tupi are situated in Bunao, Kablon and Lunen.
Likewise, the water system projects in Tantangan are located in Bukay Pait, Cabuling, Dumadalig, Libas, Magon, Maibo, Mangilala, New Cuyapo, New Iloilo, New Lambunao, Poblacion, San Felipe and Tinongcop.
The Provincial Bids and Awards Division disclosed that upon submission of the Program of Works, Plans and other pertinent requirements by the Provincial Engineering Office which is the implementing arm of the projects, their office will publish it for public bidding.
