Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. issued an executive order for the establishment of a Technical Working Group (TWG) for consolidated farm production and mechanization system in the province of South Cotabato.
EO NO. 55 series of 2022 provides that the establishment of the TWG will help formulate the plans, policies, and guidelines for the said project.
It will also strengthen the linkages with the national government, local government units, concerned agencies, private sectors, and other organizations in relation to the consolidated farming and mechanization system.
The twg will also serve as the marketing arm of the program, which will recommend measures for the consideration of the local chief executives to ensure efficient implementation of the program.
It will also facilitate data collection during the pre and implementation phase of the program.
Based on the said order, the TWG will be headed by Governor Tamayo as the chairperson, Provincial Agriculturist Raul Teves as the Vice-Chairperson, and the members are the following: Representatives from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Provincial General Services Officer, Provincial Planning and Development Office, Provincial Accountant’s Office, Provincial Legal Office, South Cotabato Economic Enterprise Management Office, Provincial Engineer’s Office, Provincial Treasurer’s Office, Provincial Budget Office, Provincial Environment and Management Office, and other government -lined agencies.
