KORONADAL CITY, SOUTH COTABATO- The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) are now all set as to the surge plan of covid-19 and other possible disaster that may occur.
According to OIC-PDRRMO Rolly Doane C. Aquino, RN the team of PDRRMO together with the south cotabato Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) conducts series of meetings and workshop to ensure that everything are put in place.
“Upod man kita nga naga meeting sang team sang integrated provincial health office (ipho) sa aton sini nga surge plan, the question here is ngaa naghimo kita sang surge plan? Because, kung magbalik gid kita kag padayunon gid naton ang new normal kag mapansin naton ga amat-amat bukas ang tanan naga expektar kita nga magtaas gid ang kaso sang covid-19.” OIC-PDRRMO said during the conduct of press conference.
Moreover, aside from our fight against covid-19 the department also ensure the safety of the public against Dengue by conducting regular monitoring, misting, and the 4-S (Search and destroy, Self-protection measures, Seek early consultation, or Support fogging/spraying) and 4 o’clock habit.
“Mayroon tayong available chemical for fogging and misting operation nga anytime pwede naton gamiton.” Aquino added.
Meanwhile, the department also are preparing for the mitigation program and allotted budget amounting to 20 million pesos and that includes infrastructure like flood control project, lined canal, and other project that will ensure the smooth operations.
