– Tantangan LGU turns over published Cultural Mapping Book

The 12 barangqys of the municipality of Tantangan  officially turned over their respective published Cultural Mapping Book, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit reported.

Except for Mangilala, the 12 barangays in attendance during the turnover ceremony were Cabuling, New Cuyapo, New Iloilo, New Lambunao, Poblacion, San Felipe, Bukay Pait, Libas, Dumadalig, Maibo,  Magon, and Tinongcop.

Tourism Operations Officer II Indira Cagaanan, Arts & Culture Coordinator , disclosed that the barangays presented between  10 to 20  cultural icons each in their CMP Book to ACTMU. It was attended by Barangay Officials, Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) and representative from the Mayor’s Office.

Cagaanan further said that they conducted the validation process last year with the Final Validation Team composed of representatives from the Mayor’s Office, Municipal Planning & Development Office, Municipal Environment & Natural Resources Office and Municipal Tourism Office.

          Aside from Tantamgan, other LGUs that turned over already their books were Polomolok, Tupi, Tampakan, Surallah, T,boli, Lake Sebu, Sto. Nino and Norala.
