LAKE SEBU, SOUTH COTABATO —- Former Assistant Principal Jennifer Tupas of Lake Sebu National High School was appointed as Municipal Tourism Officer, this municipality effective January 4, 2021.
Prior to his appointment, Tupas started as a Teacher and Cultural Worker, and took up Special Courses in Culture and Arts Management as a scholar at the Institute for Culture and Arts Management under the auspices of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, finishing all the courses in 2004.
He likewise graduated his Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management at the Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU), University of Southeastern Philippines and La Salle – Ozamiz. U) in 2018. He is teaching in the Graduate Diploma in Cultural Education at NDMU. He is also the Project Consultant of ISKULTOUR Program, which is the Integration of Tourism Education in Basic Education in partnership with DepED and the Provincial Tourism Office of South Cotabato.
