Two more barangays in SouthCot declared as drug-cleared

Two Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (BADAC) of   Brgy.Rizal 3 in Banga; and Brgy. San Isidro in  Sto.Niño were successfully declared as drug cleared barangays today October 27, 2020, by the Regional Oversight Committee on Dangerous Drugs after they have passed all the requirements under the Barangay Drug Clearing Program (BDCP).

Early this month, the applications of these two barangays were declared as   Drug Cleared on Probationary Status and were given 30 days to comply with the lacking documents.

Present during the deliberation held in Koronadal City were PDEA DIR II Naravy D Duquiatan as the Chairman of the ROCDD, PLTCOL Jomar Alexis A Yap, and  PLTCOL Marifel Maganto,  PNP Representatives;  LGOO V Mel Roy B Manait – DILG Representative; and Sto. Nino Mayor Sulpicio Villalobos.

In her message, PDEA Director Duquiatan expressed her gratitude to the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council chaired by Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo for her relentless support to the conduct of barangay Drug Clearing initiatives in the province.

To date, there are still 51 barangays out of the 199 barangays in the province that need to undergo completion of their application on the Barangay Drug Clearing Program.

The PDEA is now steadfast in their campaign on the BDCP based on the standing order from President Rodrigo Duterte to make each barangay declared as drug-cleared barangay.
