Yearend PDC meeting to tackle Naci Dike Assessment, Sectoral concerns

The Yearend Provincial Development Council (PDC) meeting slated on December 12 and hosted by the municipality of Polomolok will tackle the result of the Naci Dike Assessment and updates from PDC Sectoral and Functional Committees, the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) said.

PDC members led by Governor Daisy Avance Fuentes, PDC Chair, will listen to the presentation of Manuel Manuta, Naci Dike Assessment Team Leader, as part of the highlight of the meeting.

Prior to the presentation, the different sectoral and functional committees will present their respective report for possible endorsements from the council.

PDC sectoral committees are Infrastructure Development Committee, Economic Development Committee, Environment/ DRR-CCA Development Committee, Institutional Development Committee and Social Development Committee, while the functional committees are Provincial Multi-Partite Monitoring Team on Land Use and Environmental Policies Implementation and Compliance (PMMT-LEPIC) and provincial Project Monitoring Committee.

Host Polomolok led by Mayor Honey Lumayag – Matti will likewise give development updates about her municipality as first part of the agenda.

The Provincial Development Council (PDC) is the highest planning and policy-making body of the province that defines the direction of the provincial government.
