16 organic farmers, RICs and 4-Hs club members receive livelihood programs

At least 16 Rural –Based organizations and organic farmers received the checks worth Php15k as part of the organic agriculture and livelihood program implemented by the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist during the Monday Flag Raising ceremony held earlier today.
Provincial Agriculturist Justina Navarette said the recipients are members of the organic farmers association, 4-H Clubs and the Rural Improvement clubs of the province.
These recipients include the following: Jarren L. Somblingo of Guinsang-an High 4-H Club in Sto. Niño for cattle production; Jeffrey Medel of Landan 4-H Club in Polomolok for Free Range chicken; Teresa Salazar or Upper Klinan RIC in Polomolok for cattle production; Jade A. Talo of 4-H Club of Banga National High School for small ruminant goat raising; Rizalia Z. Castigator of Lambusong 4-H Club in Surallah for bamboo craft production; Norlita Arrieta of Kalayaan RIC of Purok 14, Poblacion Tupi for outdoor barbecue grills meat processing; Risalla J. Dumaran of RIC Pulabato of Tampakan from cattle production; Gemma Arorong of Brgy. San Jose RIC in Koronadal City for Free-range chicken production.
Meanwhile, at least eight more organic farmers from the municipality of Tupi were the recipients of the project.
For Free range chicken, these include Delia Alvarez, Roy Abnayan, Rosita Allen, Ginalyn Soguilon, Jobert Cotas , Dennis Catuiran, and Nerma Derla; while Moetader Macabangin received goat raising project.
The check was formally turned over to the recipients by Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. and assisted by Boardmember Dardanilo Dar and other provincial officials.
