.The Technical Working Group (TWG) of the Search for Cleanest & Greenest LGU – Best Community Garden catgory consolidated the final results of the judgingonducted from September 25 to October 17.
The TWG members that joined the consolidation of results were PIO, PPDO, PGO-ACTMU, PEMO. NGO South Cotabato Foundation Inc., corporate giant Dole Philippines Inc. and DILG provincial office.
The top (2) winning barangays per LGU were judged by the evaluators for the Best Community Garden category.
Criteria of the contest are the following: Community Participation – 15%, Supporting Barangay Ordinance, Executive Order, Resolution – 15%, Labels/Signages Installed – 10%, Garden Layout – 10%, Volume of Production – 10%, Variability pf Plants – 10%, Operational Composting – 15%, Sustainability Mechanism – 10% and Cleanliness and Well-organized Garden – 10%.
The top 3 Best Community Garden chosen by the evaluators will receive P20,000 each from sponsor Dole Philippines Inc. during the awarding of winners on November 22 dubbed as South Cotabato Ecology Day.
