2nd round evaluation on the Search for Cleanest, Greenest Household conducted

LAKE SEBU, SOUTH COTABATO — The Top Fifteen (15) winners during the first round of the Search for Cleanest and Greenest Household in this town were judged during the second evaluation conducted last October 12 by the team of evaluators composed of PIO, Provincial Tourism Office, DILG Provincial Office, DENR-PASu-AVPL and Lake Sebu Tourism Office.

Twenty-six (26) households joined the contest during the initial evaluation conducted about a month ago that was spearheaded by the Provincial Environment Management Office (PEMO), which launched the contest last year as part of its Lake Easement Beautification Project.

Out of the fifteen households, ten (10) will be chosen by the team of evaluators for the third and final evaluation which is scheduled on November 16 – 17.

Cash incentives await the top five (5) winners of this contest during the awarding on November 28 at the Lake Sebu Municipal Hall.

Parallel to the search is also the contest for the Best Maintained Easement Area conducted last September 14 – 15, whose contestants were last year’s winners of the search.

Like the cleanest and greenest household winners, the top five (5) winners will also receive cash incentives as prizes.

Their final evaluation will be conducted also on November 16 – 17, the same schedule with the cleanest and greenest household search.

The criteria of the two contests are as follows: Greening, Gardening and Landscaping – 60% ( divided into Best Flower / Ornamental Garden – 30% and Best Vegetable Garden – 30%) and Cleanliness and Orderliness – 40%.
