Koronadal City— PHP10-million-worth of swine breeder and the techno-demo farm is to be built in five areas in South Cotabato next year, Provincial Veterinary Officer Flora Bigot said.
“The Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Training Institute allocates a P50M project as a grant under the Integrated National Swine Production Initiatives for Recovery and Expansion (INSPIRE) and part of the recovery and re-population plan for the swine industry,” Bigot explained.
The project is in the municipalities of Sto. Nino, Tboli, Lake sebu, City of Koronadal, and Tupi, Bigot said.
The Provincial Veterinary Office screened recipients of the project.
