Some 752 civil registry documents were authenticated by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Gen. Santos City through the Provincial Planning and Development Office – Research, Evaluation and Monitoring (PPDO – REM) Division as part of the celebration of the 26th National Statistics Month (NSM) last October.
Documents processed include 552 birth certificate, 82 marriage certificate, 4 death certificate and 114 certificate of no marriage available or cenomar.
Applicants for authentication paid P190.00 each for birth, marriage and death certificates and P245.00 for cenomar inclusive of the P50.00 secretary’s fee.
Aside from civil registry documents authentication, PPDO-REM also conducted the 24th Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) – Provincial Elimination in partnership with PSA.
PSQ was participated by 15 colleges province-wide with three representatives per school.
Notre Dame of Marbel University swept the quiz contest with a 1-2-3 finish.
