Establishments (AEs) and Video Bloggers (Vloggers) coming from 8 LGUs in South Cotabato were trained by the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit on Social Media Management and Content Creation at Viajera Hotel and Resto,, City of Koronadal last September 15 – 16.
Sixteen (16) AEs and Vloggers joined the training with 2 representatives each coming from LGUs Polomplok, Tampakan and Tupi for the first district and LGUs Tantangan, Surallah, Norala, Sto. Nino and T’boli for the second district.
Local Blogger Arvin Lee Advincula of Surallah Tourism Office was the Resource Speaker during the 2-day training-workshop. Advincula is known for his blog “where have you vin.”
After Advincula’s lecture, the group produced their respective blog which was cliniqued during the presentation.
Trainees were given Certificates of Participation during the culmination program.
The primary objective of the activity, according to ACTM, is to enhance the knowledge of employees on the latest practices in the tourism industry.
The first batch of trainees coming from LGUs Banga, Lake Sebu and City of Koronadal were trained in Punta Isla, Lake Resort last June 16 – 17.
