CITY OF KORONADAL — The Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum Unit (ACTMU) conducted Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Cultural Mapping among 12 barangays of Tantangan in Agua Frio Garden Resort here last September 7 – 8.
Tourism Operations Officer II Indira Cagaanan, ACTMU Arts & Culture Coordinator disclosed that the Local Mapping Team(LMT) of the respective barangay presented their report from Chapters I to IV during the 2-day session.
Chaper I is about the barangay’s Political Profile, Chapter II is the Historical and Demographic Profile, Chapter III is Environment and Natural Profile while Chapter IV is the List of Cultural Icons,” Cagaanan enumerated.
Chapters I to III, Cagaanan pointed, can be found in the Barangay Development Plan of the respective barangay.
Some 40 LMT members attended the FGD together with the attendance of Engr. Hanz Fernandez, the Cultural Mapping Editor who conducted the “cliniquing” of the reports presented
The 12 barangays, composed pf Cabuling, New Cuyapo, New Iloilo, New Lambunao, Poblacion, San Felipe, Bukay Pait, Libas, Dumadalig, Maibo, Magon, and Tinongcop will continue presenting tjeir cultural icons in the next scheduled session since they have only presented in part the total list of icons during the 2-day activity.
