The Provincial Planning and Development Office – Research, Evaluation and Monitoring (PPDO-REM) Division announced that authentication of civil registry documents will only be until today, October 30 (Monday).
Project Evaluation Officer IV Eleazar Abellera, PPDO-REM chief disclosed that the authentication will end today because tomorrow October 31 (Tuesday) is a non-working holiday, as declared earlier by Malacanang Palace.
“The last batch of documents for authentication will be ferried on November 2 to Philip [pine Statistics office (PSA) – General Santos City possibly by ten o’clock in the morning, so for late-comers who wish to avail the service they should beat the deadline time on that day,” Abellera added.
PPDO-REM authentication of civil registry documents is an annual program in partnership with PSA conducted every October each year in celebration of National Statistics Month.
Civil registry documents accepted for authentication are birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate and certificate of no marriage available (cenomar).
Fees charged for birth certificate, marriage certificate and death certificate is P190 while for cenomar is P245.
