AVLDA turns over caving equipment to Lake Sebu

Allah Valley Landscape Development Alliance (AVLDA) recently turned over caving equipment to the municipality of Lake Sebu to enhance further their eco-tourism program as the province’s summer capital.

Rogelio Acosta, AVLDA Project Manager, personally delivered the caving equipment and received by Lake Sebu Mayor Antonio Fungan during their town’s Monday Convocation Program.

The caving equipment consisted of skull guards, life vests, head lamps, rope harness, among others.

The donation was part of the Local Economic Development (LED) project funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).

Local Governance Support Program (LGSP) personally supervised the implementation of this project that was terminated at the end of March this year.

Lake Sebu is currently promoting its Kofnet Cave, located at Sitio Lam Bila, Barangay lamfugon.  .

It is also included in one of the two eco-tourism circuits promoted by AVLDA under the LED project.
