Since its launching on May 2020, the Balik Probinsiya South Cotabato Program had already served 33,496 Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs), Returning Residents (RRs) and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) coming from Metro Manila and other parts of the country.
Based from the Terminal Report of the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit as of November 2021, a total of 8,291 LSIs, 14,380 RRs and 10,824 ROFs were served by the Balik Probinsiya Program. The arriving passengers were fetched by Team Sundo personnel of said program from the airports of General Santos City, Cagayan de Oro City, Cotabato City and Davao City as well as seaport of Cagayan de Oro City.
Team Sundo is composed of Job Order personnel assigned to assist passengers upon arrival at the airport up to their boarding in their vehicle provided by their respective LGU.
With the easing of restrictions and now allowing the use of private vehicles to fetch arriving passengers by theInter-Agency Task Force (IATF), Balik Probinsiya is temporarily deactivated of their function effective November 2021. But, according to ACTM, it may be re-activated anytimesoon if the situation warrants.
