-Falls, Mambukal Hot Springs 3rd quarter top tourist sites

7-Falls Resort in Lake Sebu, Mambukal Hot Spring Resort in the City of Koronadal and Matinong’s Garden in Sto. Nino are the top three (3) tourist attraction sites in South Cotabato for the 3rd quarter of 2021, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit reported.

The total tourist arrivals for the 3rd quarter in South Cotabato, according to Richie Matunding, ACTM Program Assistant, is 216,896.

7-Falls Resort retained its rank as the top tourist site due to its zipline attraction which is considered as Southeast Asia’s highest and longest zipline. Aside from the zipline, visitors can experience Falls 1 -7, trekking, bird watching and savor their signature tilapia delicacy.

Mambukal Hot Springs is frequented not only of Koronadalenos but also other visitors within the region because of its hot sulfur spring that many tourists considered as therapeutic.

Matinong Garden is the latest attraction in Sto. Nino located within the residence compound of fallen Sto. Nino Mayor Pablo Matinong. It is actually a Museum that housed the memorabilia of the former Mayor.

The tourist sites that  ranked 4th to 10th place for the 3rd quarter are Magsangyaw Peak (Tupi),  Sunrise Garden Lake Resort (Lake Sebu), Dreamweavers Hill (Lake Sebu), Punta Isla Lake resort (Lake Sebu), Necita’s Lagoon (Norala), T’Daan Kini Resort (Lake Sebu) and Lantaw Garrido (Norala).
