Full implementation of SC-CCTS in South Cotabato underway

Members of the  South Cotabato-Covid  Contract Tracing System (SC-CCTS)  Implementing Team meets up with Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. today to thresh out issues and concerns regarding the smooth implementation of the  SC-CCTS in the province.

To date, the registration has been conducted at the different barangays in the province as well as to the arriving   Locally Stranded Individuals and  Returning  Overseas Filipinos at the airports and seaports.

Said application will also be officially launched at the Municipality of Tampakan, tomorrow, June 9, 2020 8 am at the municipal ground wherein the ceremonial testing and scanning will be held.

Simultaneously during the day,   registration for the business establishments at the four malls in  Koronadal City will also commence,  while registration for the individuals will be on Wednesday, June 10.

Moreover, the provincial launching will be held on June 18 at the Mall of Ace Centerpoint.

Based on Ordinance No. 13  which is ” An Ordinance implementing the South Cotabato Covid-19 Contact Tracing System and Providing guidelines therefor”, there are corresponding sanctions and imposition of penalties to those who will not adhere to the ordinance.

For any government office or private establishment/public vehicle operator  who fail to  register in the SC-CCTS within 15 days from the effectivity of the ordinance, scan all CCTS card of clients/visitors and/or maintain a manual logbook, they shall be sanctioned as follows:

1st offense, Php1,000 fine

2nd offense Php2,000 fine

3rd and succeeding offenses Php5,000 fine or imprisonment of not more than six (6) months or both at the discretion of the court

For any person who uses the CCTS card of another shall be sanctioned as follows”

1st offense, Php1,000 fine

2nd offense Php2,000 fine

3rd and succeeding offenses Php5,000 fine or imprisonment of not more than six (6) months or both at the discretion of the court

Full implementation of the said ordinance will on July 2, 2020.
